Are there any studies on omega-3 and high myopia indicating that supplementation might be helpful?

There have been no published evidence-based clinical trials on DHA omega-3 with respect to myopia. Recent recommendations on DHA/EPA/DPA (combined) intakes advocated in Australia and New Zealand have abdicated normal daily intakes of 70 mg/day for the overall health of girls and boys aged 9-13 years on top of a minimal daily intake of alpha-linolenic acid (LNA) of 800 mg and 1000 mg per day, respectively.
